We have chosen the pH test strips in the range of 4.5 to 9.0 because this range will cover readings of anyone who is very acidic as well as anyone who has an unusual high pH level. It will also accommodate someone who is a cancer patient and wishes to increase his pH to 8.5 for a limited time to kill cancer cells.
